ARMEN GYULAMIRIAN
Born in Yerevan, Armenia and graduated from the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute (Faculty of Architecture) and has lived in the Untied States since 1994. He is currently practicing architectural and interior design, fine art and murals, faux finishing and other decorative painting. Selected murals can be found throughout the Washington D.C. area.
Laureate of numerous competitions and architectural awards (selected):
- 1984 — Best project of the USSR — First prize and Gold Medal
- 1984 — Best project of Armenia — First prize
- 1988 — Design and Build of Housing in Seismic Zone — Honorable Mention (international Competition).
- 1987 — Competition of Young Armenian Architects — First Place
